Alec Garza

I'm Alec Garza, and I'm proud to say I was born and raised right here in Lansing, Michigan, a graduate of Waverly High School. My background in customer service and hospitality taught me early on the importance of truly helping people. I'm a family man, married with two wonderful daughters. My journey with State Farm began in 2014, and what continues to drive me is a deep passion for a company that always prioritizes integrity and doing what's right for the customer. It's personal to me to see our region including, Michigan Ohio and Indiana thrive. Of course, this all starts in my hometown of Lansing!

Having owned a small business, I’ve experienced firsthand how crucial it is to support local businesses. That insight allows my team and me to not only help individuals and small businesses prepare for the unexpected with coverage like auto or homeowners insurance, but also to protect their future with life and business insurance policies. We focus on providing custom coverage that fits each unique situation.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me enjoying some of my favorite Michigander hobbies: golfing, fishing, or traveling up north with my family. I’m also a loyal fan of Detroit sports, through every win and every loss! My team shares a similar friendly spirit, which helps make our office near Holt, East Lansing, and Okemos, right off the Jolly and Dunckel exit in Lansing, a fun and inviting place.
